Phyllis McDole, mother of man shot by police, accepts plea deal

Rather than going to trial, the mother of a man slaughtered by Wilmington cops in September has taken a request bargain regarding the attack of a lady she accepted set the 911 call that in the end prompted her child's demise.

636051429105409003-092415-ShootingFolo-KRG0065.JPGPhyllis McDole, 49, conceded Tuesday to third-degree thievery. The state dropped extra charges for scheme, terroristic dangers and ambush in return for her request.

She now confronts up to three years in jail when she is sentenced.

Her child, Jeremy "Bam" McDole, who utilized a wheelchair, was shot and murdered by Wilmington cops in the 1800 square of Tulip St. on Sept. 23.

The officers were reacting to a 911 bring in which a lady told dispatchers a man in a wheelchair had shot himself and had a firearm. Authorities discharged the 911 call after the shooting.

Days after the fact, Phyllis McDole and five other individuals went to a lady's home on Lancaster Avenue to attempt to locate the guest, as indicated by police.

They started punching and debilitating the lady who addressed the front entryway, police said.

Court reports said that as McDole punched the inhabitant, she said, "Bitch, you got my child slaughtered. You are the one that called the cops. You got my child shot and you going to bite the dust like my child passed on." The lady endured two bruised eyes, a little scratch, swelling on her hand and a cut lip.
