US vigorously support democracy in Pakistan – Ambassador HaleISLAMABAD: US Ambassador in Pakistan, David Hale, has said United States completely bolsters vote based system in Pakistan and that soundness in the South Asian Muslim-lion's share country is firmly connected to popular government in the nation.

Addressing Geo News in a meeting with Capital Talk host Hamid Mir, the diplomat said that the augmentation in residency of Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif is Pakistan's inward matter.

"We vivaciously bolster Pakistan's prospering vote based system," he said amid the meeting.

"I'm a newcomer to Pakistan. As I said before, my experience is in the Middle East. I'm adapting each day and I'm viewing. What's more, I'm exceptionally inspired by how exuberant, in all honesty, legislative issues are in this nation."

The US envoy said he trusted general races in Pakistan would happen in 2018, as booked.

"These sorts of inquiries are for Pakistan and Pakistanis, and these are not issues that we [the US] could ever take a position on," he said when inquired as to whether Senator McCain had talked about the augmentation of the military boss.
