Interior ministry rejects Sindh govt summary on Rangers’ powers   ISLAMABAD: The legitimate specialists of inside service have at first rejected the rundown sent by Sindh government with respect to Rangers' forces in Karachi and the whole territory, sources said.

As per the sources in the inside service, the legitimate specialists of the service surveyed the synopsis and rejected it at first.

As per the legitimate specialists, the rundown was not according to article 147 of the constitution and needs lawful and protected angles.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday marked the outlines for broadening the stay of the Sindh Rangers in the region by one year and to amplify the exceptional policing forces of the paramilitary power in Karachi for 90 days.

The terms of both extraordinary policing forces of the Sindh Rangers in Karachi under the Anti-Terrorism Act and the stay of the paramilitary power in the territory in help of common organization and the police had finished on 19 July, 2016.

Already, the Sindh government had reached out in May 2016 the extraordinary policing forces of the Sindh Rangers in Karachi for 77 days while the term of stay of the Rangers in the territory in help of the common organization and police had been stretched out for a year in July 2015.
